Job Summary The Senior Patient Services Representative performs all duties of a Patient Services Representative at Children's National Pediatricians & Associates, including scheduling and workflow coordination, quality control, staff guidance, training, and inventory monitoring. Works independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications Minimum Education:
High School Diploma or GED Minimum Work Experience:
3 years in Medical or Business Office Skills and Knowledge:
Basic math, office procedures, medical terminology, patient financials, insurance verification, scheduling, communication, Microsoft Office, staff coordination, leadership, problem-solving Responsibilities Office Support & Administration
Assist with inventory and purchase orders Train and orient staff Oversee safety and performance Manage patient flow and administrative processes Patient Account Management
Verify and update patient information Collect payments and resolve billing issues Reception & Customer Service
Greet patients, answer phones, manage communications Ensure accurate registration and insurance verification Schedule and optimize patient appointments Safety & Organizational Values
Promote safety, confidentiality, and organizational principles Teamwork & Performance
Collaborate effectively, contribute to process improvements, demonstrate flexibility and sound judgment Location & Schedule Primary Location: Washington, D.C., CNPA Foggy Bottom, 2021 K St NW Suite 800, ZIP 20006 Position: Full-Time, Day Shift Salary Range: $36,400 - $58,136 annually Children's National Hospital is an equal opportunity employer.
