has an opening for a
Director Manufacturing Systems Engineering 1
to lead the
Manufacturing Strategy and Integration Organization.
The organization is looking for a strong leader to create and deploy sector manufacturing strategy for product development, investment, facilities, processes, and skills to accelerate affordable maturation and delivery of our products. What You'll Get to Do: Drive and scale the manufacturing systems engineering role to accelerate affordable maturation of programs.
Identify and develop next generation manufacturing capabilities in collaboration with ECD, NGMC, Strategic Growth and divisions.
Manage annual $10M+ NCTA for sector manufacturing technology development.
Develop/maintain technology roadmaps to drive down cost of RF Test capital, facilities, touch labor, and NRE.
Develop process for capital prioritization, coordination, and execution with manufacturing operation leads.
Define and execute business framework for strategic facility planning.
Develop and train manufacturing shop floor skills to meet future factory needs.
Deploy manufacturing CI framework, training, and support to site CI leads.
Develop and support sector professional manufacturing talent with key sector SMEs.
Collaborate with the Manufacturing Operations CoE to ensure alignment with the MS Manufacturing Sector.
Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and 10+ years', Master's Degree and 8+ years', or a PhD and 5+ years of experience of relevant professional experience.
Depth of knowledge in manufacturing technologies and processes.
Basic understanding of a range of manufacturing technologies.
Experience in project and/or program management leading cross functional teams.
Results-oriented team player, with the ability to handle a rapidly changing set of projects and priorities.
Demonstrated flexibility and strong judgment/complex critical decision making.
Demonstrated ability leading and shaping a high performing team.
Experience being a Change leader with experience in deploying new technology strategies.
Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communications skills.
Ability to travel up to 25%.
US Citizenship.
Active Secret clearance.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering in Manufacturing.
Understanding of Mission Systems core technologies.
Systems Engineering experience.
Industry 4.0 experience.
DoD experience.
CAM, Earned Value, cost estimation and analysis experience.
Top Secret Clearance.
Salary Range:
