Position Summary: The Director for Student Life Operations reports to the Vice President for Student Development and oversees the daily operations of Student Life departments, including Beacon Beanery, Campus Ministry, Residence Life, Student Programs, Intramurals, Campus Dining, Student Conduct, Wellness Programs, Student Government/ASBU, and Security.

Assist the Vice President in providing operational leadership for Student Life programs, services, and administrative functions. Manage daily operations of the Beacon Beanery, including hiring, training, supervising student staff, coordinating with vendors, managing inventory, purchasing merchandise, promoting sales, overseeing budgets, and ensuring health and safety standards. Develop and prepare reports, meeting materials, budgets, and conduct research as needed, including financial and statistical reports. Plan and coordinate signature departmental events such as Orientation Family Dinner, Sophomore Year Experience, Junior Discernment Retreat, and Year-End Celebrations. Schedule meetings, make reservations, coordinate travel, and maintain work schedules using Outlook. Collaborate campus-wide to prepare and distribute weekly communications for the Beacon. Utilize Jenzabar for student communication, meal charges, student activities, immunizations, and other data; attend weekly system meetings for updates and training. Monitor project progress, develop schedules, and maintain records. Coordinate student welcome baskets for Orientation. Manage Student Life Leadership hiring process, including interviews, announcements, and paperwork. Maintain logs, files, and records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy. Order and inventory equipment and supplies, review documents for compliance. Assist with marketing materials, newsletters, webpage maintenance, and campus publicity policies. Support and supervise Resident Director & Coordinator for Student Life Operations, front desk, and mailroom. Attend various meetings and perform related duties as assigned. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree (Master's preferred) in student affairs, leadership, business, or related fields, with at least four years of relevant experience. Knowledge of planning, organization, leadership, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and database platforms are required. Experience in an academic or student affairs environment is highly desirable. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
