Job Opportunity: Gastroenterologist in Southern Texas

A thriving, 350-bed hospital located on the Southern Texas Coast, just an hour from Houston, is seeking a full-time GI physician to assume a dual Program Director and clinical role.
This position offers flexibility, with the hospital open to tailoring the role around the incoming physician, comprising approximately 30% administrative and 70% clinical responsibilities.
The Position:
Practice alongside 9 other GI physicians and APPs
Monday-Thursday schedule, half-day on Fridays
Perform procedures in the mornings and see patients in the clinic in the afternoons
Average of 4-5 procedures per day; ERCP option available
Total income in the $900K-$1M range, with a negotiable base salary of $600K plus production bonuses
Additional benefits include a director stipend, $50K sign-on bonus, $100K student loan repayment, CME allowance, 25 days PTO, full benefits, and retirement/401K options
