A thriving, 350-bed hospital located on the Southern Texas Coast, just an hour from Houston, is seeking a full-time GI physician to practice in a dual Program Director and clinical role.
This hospital is open to molding this position around the incoming physician and is 30% administrative and 70% clinical.
The Position
- Practice alongside 9 other GI physicians and APPs
- Monday-Thursday schedule, 1/2 day on Fridays
- Current GIs perform procedures in the morning and see patients in the clinic in the afternoon
- Average of 4-5 procedures per day; ERCP option
- Total income is in the $900K-1M range, negotiable base salary of $600K with production upside
- Director stipend, sign-on bonus of $50K, $100K in student loan repayment, CME, 25 days PTO, full benefits + retirement/401K
- Located just over an hour from Houston and near the Louisiana border, this community of 100K people offers fantastic access to the Gulf Coast with popular beach destinations like Crystal Beach and Sea Rim State Park less than an hour away
