We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Purchasing/Logistics Manager to lead procurement and logistics operations at our Anchorage Distribution Center. This role is essential to the success of our hatchery support team, ensuring the seamless flow of materials, equipment, and supplies across multiple remote sites. As the Purchasing/Logistics Manager, you will oversee purchasing, shipping, receiving, inventory control, and fleet logistics. You will work closely with the Assistant Operations Manager to manage vendor relationships, optimize supply chain processes, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The Purchasing/Logistics Manager is part of the hatchery support team, managing purchasing, shipping, receiving, and distribution activities at the Anchorage Distribution Center, working with the Assistant Operations Manager and Distribution Manager, requiring management decision-making capabilities. Primary Responsibilities: Develop and implement supply chain processes, including planning, ordering, inventory management, and distribution. Ensure timely processing of purchase requests, proper coding, and purchase order generation. Manage vendor relationships, track supplies, resolve shipment delays, and oversee shipping methods. Maintain professional vendor relationships for optimal pricing and service. Ensure operational continuity, manage warehouse tasks, and coordinate freight pickups. Manage equipment rentals, office operations, and building maintenance needs. Prepare and monitor the annual budget for the Anchorage Distribution Center. Review costs, ensure safety program compliance, and recommend process improvements. Coordinate logistics for safety programs and hatchery commissaries. Manage inventory and distribution of supplies and oversee petty cash reconciliation. Ensure all purchasing complies with organizational protocols and safety standards. Stay informed on DOT rules, CFRs, and HAZMAT regulations. Other duties as assigned, including filling in for staff as needed. Essential Functions:

Work primarily at the ADC, able to lift 30 lbs., climb stairs, and use communication tools effectively. Must be proficient in English, with good hearing and vision for instructions. Positions Supervised:
