About the Role: As part of our Digital Transformation group, we deliver an intelligent, secure, scalable, performant, and accessible platform, which serves as the foundation of ServiceNow’s products and customer experiences. This is achieved through world-class integrations, data management, automation, artificial intelligence, and end-user experiences across all channels. This role is within our PlatformX team, a new division shaping the long-term future of our intelligent platform. This high-leverage, business-critical role offers an opportunity to influence how search powers richer, more intuitive conversational experiences. As the boundary between search and conversation blurs, you'll guide the development of our foundational search capabilities to create personalized, relevant, and trusted information-grounded conversational experiences. Key Responsibilities: Drive product strategy for search, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and question-answering capabilities to support our growth towards $30B+ in revenue. Identify compelling product priorities and build consensus among stakeholders. Coordinate cross-functional teams including ML research, engineering, UX research, and design to develop high-quality products. Manage the entire product lifecycle and own outcomes. Incorporate user research, customer pilots, and market analysis into product requirements to improve satisfaction. Translate complex problems into clear, actionable requirements. Develop multimodal communications for diverse audiences, both internal and external, technical and non-technical. Partner with other product teams to promote adoption of search and GenAI capabilities. Establish metrics and frameworks to measure the quality and value of search and GenAI. Mentor and guide team members. Qualifications: Experience integrating AI into workflows, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools and automations. 8+ years in software product management, with at least 5 years in enterprise search. Experience developing GenAI, NLP, or search functionalities. Proficiency in capturing and transforming product requirements into a roadmap. Strong customer empathy and a track record of delivering customer-centric solutions. Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to validate hypotheses and inform product direction. Experience navigating ambiguity and articulating trade-offs. Ability to solve problems at the intersection of ML quality and UX design. We offer a base salary ranging from $147,300 to $257,800, plus equity, incentives, and benefits, with variations based on location and qualifications. Work personas (flexible, remote, in-office) are assigned based on role and location.
