About the Role: As part of our Digital Transformation group, we deliver an intelligent, secure, scalable, and accessible platform that forms the foundation of ServiceNow’s products and customer experiences. This is achieved through world-class integrations, data management, automation, artificial intelligence, and end-user experiences across all channels. This role is within our PlatformX team, shaping the future of our intelligent platform. It is a high-leverage, business-critical position to influence how search powers richer, more intuitive conversational experiences. You will guide the development of foundational search capabilities to create personalized, relevant, and trusted conversational experiences. What you will do in this role: Drive product strategy for search, retrieval augmented generation (RAG), and question-answering capabilities to support our growth towards $30B+ in revenue. Identify key product priorities and build consensus around them. Facilitate cross-functional teams including ML research, engineering, user experience, and design to deliver high-quality products. Manage the entire product lifecycle and own the outcomes. Incorporate user research, customer pilots, and market analysis into product requirements to improve satisfaction. Translate complex problems into clear, compelling requirements. Develop multimodal communications for diverse audiences, both internal and external, technical and non-technical. Partner with other product teams to promote adoption of search and GenAI capabilities. Establish metrics and frameworks to measure the quality and value of search and GenAI. Serve as a team guide and mentor for junior employees. Qualifications for success: Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving, including using AI tools, automating workflows, or analyzing AI insights. 8+ years in software product management, with at least 5 years in enterprise search. Direct experience with GenAI, NLP, or search technologies. Proven ability to capture and define product requirements and develop roadmaps. Strong customer empathy and a track record of delivering customer-centric solutions. Ability to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data to validate hypotheses and measure success. Experience navigating ambiguity and articulating trade-offs in solutions. Ability to solve problems at the intersection of machine learning quality and UX design. We offer a competitive base salary of $147,300 - $257,800, plus equity, incentives, and benefits, depending on location and qualifications. Work personas (flexible, remote, in-office) are assigned based on role and location.
