As the Senior Manager, Global Product Management within the MedTech division, you will be responsible for defining the overall strategy and development of the global plasmapheresis portfolio. You will identify market trends and unmet needs, set the strategic roadmap for the portfolio, and translate customer requirements into NPD (new product development) and/or LCM (life cycle management) of existing products. Responsibilities include defining requirements for new product development, acting as the liaison between regional marketing teams and research and development, supporting product launches into regions and market units, and managing and optimizing on-market products. This position will also manage strategic items across the plasma business, including market size and share, competitive database, strategic question resolution, business case development, financial modeling, and support of new business development opportunities.
Note:
Position requires working onsite 3 days per week in Lake Zurich, IL. Other days may be remote. Base salary range: $134,000-175,000. Eligible for an annual bonus plan with a target of 14%. Final pay depends on experience, education, skills, and abilities. Benefits include 401(k), paid vacation, holidays, personal days, employee assistance, and health coverage.
Responsibilities
Obtain a deep understanding of the plasma market and customer needs to inform product development.
Develop the long-term strategy and roadmap for the plasma business to ensure growth.
Serve as the communication link between regional marketing and R&D, understanding regional trends and VOC, and communicating R&D timelines.
Ensure successful launches of NPD or LCM products with global launch plans covering segmentation, positioning, pricing, and GTM process.
Work with marketing to develop promotional materials for product launches and enhancements.
Build relationships with regional sales and marketing teams for project communication.
Support tools and processes owned by Global Marketing, including PCR, ePOF, Long Range Planning, and Environmental Assessment.
Lead the Environmental Assessment process.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or science; MBA or master's preferred.
8+ years in product management or related experience, preferably in medical devices.
Understanding of medical device development, manufacturing, marketing, and regulatory processes.
Experience with plasmapheresis devices is a plus.
Experience taking products from concept to launch and managing on-market issues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and analysis tools.
Strong analytical and financial skills.
Ability to travel 15-25%, including international travel.
