Job Description Posted Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at 6:00 AM | Expires Sunday, July 6, 2025 at 5:59 AM For Earth For Life BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION The Sr. Product Manager is the industry expert for Compact and Utility Tractors (CUT). They are paramount in the life cycle, promotion and support of all aspects of the assigned product line within the CUT group. PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: Responsible for managing Compact and Utility Tractor (CUT) product development and marketing. Research, recommend, and implement product developments, improvements, and strategies and to increase sales and profitability for new and current Compact and Utility Tractor offerings. Responsible for New Product Introduction (NPI) following established NPI processes. Developing the marketing plan, determining the most effective programming and promotions that will deliver Corporate Plans/Budgets. Managing the promotion of the product both in terms of product positioning and demographic to align promotions and activities with the Marketing Department. Maintain an continuous, accurate, and reliable pipeline of information across internal business groups such as, engineering, sales and marketing, parts and service to ensure consistency and effective collaboration. Create materials and communications such as price books, product guides and bid specifications, magazine ads, brochures, digital presentations. Leverage these items to highlight product features and Kubota competitive advantages of new and existing products to relevant audiences. Train dealer facing sales and marketing personnel on CUT Product offerings. Mentor product marketing specialists and product marketing managers on operational procedures and product development best practices. Ability to work with non-US based Engineering and Sales teams to develop future product roadmap and define product requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or another related field preferred 7+ years of related experience in full cycle product development. Thorough knowledge of the compact and utility tractor industry, including but not limited to the market trends, mechanisms, operations, and application. Good interpersonal skills including the ability to be flexible and work as part of a team. Proficient using SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Sheets, and PowerPoint and the ability to quickly learn and use other software packages. Possession of or ability to obtain a driver’s license. EQUIPMENT OPERATION: Excavators, wheel loaders, industrial and agricultural tractors, and other agricultural and construction equipment Also, office equipment including computer, copier, phone, printer TECHNOLOGY: Ability to learn and use Microsoft & Google Suite.
