Leadership Opening: Maintenance/Transportation Supervisor

Gibsonburg Schools seeks an experienced, hard working person to lead our bus drivers,custodians, and grounds crew members in order to provide superior transportation and facilitiesfor our PreK-12 students and their families. A high level of performance is needed:
1. Maintenance of all mechanicals in the district including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical. 2. Supervise all transportation needs including busing to/from school and extracurriculars;assist the superintendent during potential calamity days. 3. Responsible for upkeep of outdoor grounds and building appearance. 4. Direct and manage bus drivers, custodians, and grounds crew members; adhere to thecollective bargaining agreement for classified staff. 5. Lead the effort to deep clean all classrooms and hallways in summer months. 6. Organize building use with other administrators. 7. Assist the Technology Director with varying tasks that require multiple people. 8. Applicant must be willing to attain CDL Class B license for emergency bus driving.
Employment Details and Benefits: There is a 260 day contract with 12 paid holidays, 20 vacation days and 3 personal days. The board pays single/family health insurance, 8% of the employee contribution to SERS and a $2,000 stipend into an HSA each year. Sick leave accrues 15 days each year. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
