The CCSD 46 Board of Education announces the commencement of a search for a new superintendent of schools to assume responsibilities on July 1, 2026. The current superintendent, Dr. Lynn Glickman, will retire after the 2025-26 school year after a highly successful tenure in District 46. Located approximately 40 miles north of Chicago in the heart of Lake County, IL, CCSD 46 serves approximately 3,600 PreK-grade 8 students from parts of the villages of Grayslake, Third Lake, Hainesville, Round Lake, Round Lake Park, Round Lake Beach, and Lake Villa. Students are provided a comprehensive curriculum to meet their academic, social, emotional, and physical needs in the eight schools. The schools are supported by a dedicated Board of Education, a committed faculty and a highly involved community.
Qualifications

A regionally competitive compensation package will be offered to the successful candidate. The base salary will be in the $225,000 to $245,000 range. Additional Notes
