We are seeking a
Strategic Planner
to lead in establishing and administering strategic and operational installation programs, projects, and actions. The successful candidate will assist in developing Marine Corps plans, processes, policies, and procedures related to enterprise-level basing programs and initiatives, including DOTMLPF-C integration, Strategic Basing Program, Joint Basing, BRAC, Force Design, and capacity analyses for special projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop Planning Orders (PLANORDs), Operations Orders (OPORDs), and Letters of Instruction (LOIs) to implement installation actions and planning guidance.
Support Marine Corps responses to Congressional and public inquiries regarding basing actions and installation planning.
Provide conference planning and meeting support for designated government and inter-agency events.
Desired and Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, community planning, facility management, or a related field.
Over ten years of experience as an analyst or program manager at the Service Component Headquarters or DoD level.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Prior experience working with military-based programs.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
Prior military experience.
Secret Clearance.
Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 per year. Compensation includes base pay within a range, determined based on experience, skills, education, and organizational needs. The position also offers a comprehensive benefits package.
