NOTE:
A respected construction firm based in Tempe is looking for a dynamic leader to oversee and expand its Job Order Contracting (JOC) operations. This position calls for someone with a deep understanding of JOC delivery methods, a strategic mindset, and a talent for cultivating strong, long-term partnerships-particularly within the municipal, education, and healthcare sectors. The ideal candidate is both operationally savvy and client-focused, with a passion for driving efficiency and excellence in public sector construction.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall strategy, execution, and growth of the Job Order Contracting program. Serve as the primary point of contact for JOC clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business. Oversee multiple JOC projects simultaneously, from scoping and estimating through closeout. Collaborate with internal teams including estimating, project management, and field operations to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery. Ensure compliance with all contract requirements, procurement regulations, and reporting standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with public agencies, subcontractors, and vendors. Identify opportunities for program expansion and process improvement. Mentor and support project teams working under the JOC umbrella.
Qualifications
Proven experience managing Job Order Contracting programs or projects. Strong background in public sector construction, particularly in municipal, educational, or healthcare environments. 7+ years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or director-level role. Deep understanding of JOC delivery methods, pricing structures, and compliance requirements. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills. Proficiency with construction management software (Procore) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead cross-functional teams.
