Responsibilities
Expand Carollo’s presence in the local stormwater market via targeted business development strategies, including growing specific client relationships and participating in professional society activities.
Work with Stormwater Client Service Leads to support local growth and develop strategies for continued stormwater growth and innovation.
Lead the application of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling systems (1D and 2D) in urban settings to support infrastructure planning and design.
Lead detailed design projects, including creating contract documents, calculations, report writing, and supporting planning, design, and construction services.
Collaborate with other disciplines, designers, and scientists supporting specific assignments.
Some travel within Florida is expected; travel outside Florida may also be needed for strategic national efforts.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering or related field.
10+ years of experience in stormwater and water resources projects.
Florida Professional Engineer License or ability to obtain within 6 months.
Extensive expertise in urban stormwater management planning and design.
Familiarity with tools such as ICPR, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, ICM, FLO-2D, XPSWMM, ArcGIS, Civil 3D.
Experience with multi-benefit urban stormwater projects.
Strong communication skills, critical thinking, and ability to present to groups.
Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in related engineering field.
Experience with client service, business development, and proposal preparation.
Proficiency with GIS and other hydrologic/hydraulic water quality modeling software.
Experience with Florida Water Management Districts.
Pay Range Salary based on factors including education, experience, skills, location, and organizational needs.
