This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Job Mission

ASML San Diego seeks talented and motivated engineers to be part of enabling tomorrow’s technology through today’s advances in EUV photolithography, the most critical process in semiconductor manufacturing.

The Quality Engineer will ensure “Voice of the Customer” requirements are met during manufacturing and provide customer quality oversight post-installation to achieve customer satisfaction.

The Quality Engineer in EUV is responsible for planning and executing customer quality and process improvement initiatives, including monitoring customer satisfaction metrics, coordinating root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions, and supporting customer audits and reporting, ensuring throughout that “Voice of the Customer” requirements are fulfilled.

Job Responsibilities Evaluate product performance results and trends against customer standards. Represent Quality in Failure Analysis review meetings. Participate in review meetings with internal and external customers. Support customer audits to evaluate the effectiveness of the quality management system. Verify implementation of actions from customer audits. Follow-up on Customer Quality Notifications from creation to closure. Identify process or design gaps leading to poor product performance. Develop metrics to measure customer quality performance and reporting capabilities. Support design teams and process improvement initiatives using LEAN/Six Sigma principles. Utilize structured problem-solving for root cause analysis and corrective actions. Create quality reports to monitor customer satisfaction. Support process diagramming and improvement projects. Analyze metrics for product and process improvements. Collect data to identify root causes and plan solutions. Participate in design and process FMEA. Perform other duties as assigned.
