Job Responsibilities Ensure compliance with Fairmont standards and regulations to promote safe and efficient hotel operations. Lead the stewarding and culinary teams in compliance with TEHC audit standards. Schedule supervisors and stewards to meet labor standards. Complete accurate bi-weekly payroll processing. Coordinate with the night cleaning company as the main liaison. Train stewarding staff to perform duties above standards. Supervise sanitation of kitchens, storerooms, hallways, docks, and equipment. Maintain compliance with Health Department standards and TEHC internal audits. Collaborate with the Chef, F&B Director, Catering, and Banquets teams to anticipate equipment needs. Support all banquet functions. Attend BEO meetings and update BEOs based on change logs and revisions. Assist with all supervisor and steward duties as needed. Order and control inventory of cleaning supplies. Conduct inventories of china, glass, silver, and cleaning supplies. Participate in meetings to foster positive working relationships and morale. Lead talent management, including reviews, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Manage recruitment and talent selection for the department. Create a positive and engaging work environment for the stewarding team. Prepare labor reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including proper uniform and PPE. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma required. Minimum 3 years of leadership experience in Stewarding or a related department. At least two years of hotel or related industry experience. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. Strong communication skills. Ability to evaluate options quickly and accurately. Ability to work effectively under stress and in high-pressure situations. Effective problem-solving skills. Excellent listening and interpersonal skills. Additional Information What is in it for you: Salary Range: USD $76,000 to $85,000.
