Job Overview The Regional Director of Business Development is responsible for managing all aspects of the organization’s business development programs, including establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, overseeing business development activities, and negotiating service contracts with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, managed care organizations, government agencies, and other payers. Key Responsibilities
Coordinate daily business development operations and oversee the implementation of initiatives. Manage CRM activities for the business development team. Assist in establishing patient volume projections and marketing plans to meet budgetary goals. Employ marketing strategies to achieve patient volume and revenue targets. Build relationships with referral sources, payers, and the community. Support recruitment, orientation, and development of the business development team. Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning. Develop community resources and assist clients in accessing these resources. Report on the cost-effectiveness of development efforts and achieve annual objectives. Create and execute business development plans and strategies in collaboration with senior management. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field; Master’s preferred. 1-3 years of experience in healthcare business development, preferably in hospice care. Proven leadership and supervisory skills. Strong communication, negotiation, and public relations skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating organization and assertiveness. Additional Details
