Responsibilities for this Position At General Dynamics Mission Systems, we develop technologies, products, and services that help protect our nation. Our work involves cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, AR/VR, Cloud Native, and Quantum Physics, applied to cyber, RF, undersea, interstellar, and other missions. You will lead a team in developing, defining, and implementing program, subcontractor, and material plans to meet both current and long-term objectives. Your role includes resource identification, defining roles, establishing budgets and schedules, monitoring work, and managing risks and opportunities to ensure technical and budgetary success. Responsibilities include: Serving as the primary contact for SWC Production with Program Management, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and customers. Representing the organization as the main technical contact on contracts and proposals. Coordinating manufacturing activities for on-time delivery. Developing and managing detailed project schedules. Monitoring performance, managing risks, and ensuring compliance with policies. Reporting status to senior management and stakeholders. Leading meetings and collaborating across teams for resource and project management. Managing proposals and supporting strategic goals. Leading a department or multiple projects, fostering professional growth, and delegating tasks appropriately. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong concentration, multi-tasking, and technical problem-solving skills. Ability to research, plan, schedule, and execute work efficiently. Proficiency in presenting technical information and using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. EVMS certification may be required; travel may be necessary. Salary Note This is a typical salary range based on experience and location. The range is USD $189,535.00 - USD $205,083.00 per year. The posting remains open until filled.
