Description Position Title : Senior Analyst, Prospect Development Position Classification: Regular;Exempt;Full-Time;40 hours/week Reports to : Senior Director of Prospect Management and Research Location : Employees in this role can work from our Boston, MA office, remotely within the U.S., or a hybrid of these options. Position Overview The Prospect Development Specialist will conduct advanced proactive and reactive in-depth research on individuals, corporations, and foundations to find those whose goals and interests align with philanthropic investments for Partners In Health (PIH). As a key member of the Prospect Research team, the Specialist will collaborate with other team members and report to the Senior Director of Prospect Management and Research. Responsibilities

Collect, synthesize, analyze, and interpret biographical and financial data to produce reports informing PIH leadership's decision-making; these reports include wealth estimates and capacity ratings indicating potential philanthropic contributions and volunteer capacity. Manage and lead prospect identification projects and conduct research for Major Gifts, Principal Gifts, and Leadership Giving teams using complex reporting, wealth screening, and data modeling. Utilize prospecting tools such as data screening and modeling to analyze targeted groups and the overall prospect pool. Collaborate with Prospect Management to develop and maintain prospect channels and balanced portfolios. Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with the Private Sector, Public Sector, and Board Engagement teams, including managing special projects related to prospect development. Develop and deliver training sessions for Prospect Management and Research staff and other Development teams on prospect development processes, special projects, and data management in Salesforce. Manage governance and nominating committee research and tracking in collaboration with the Board Engagement Team. Maintain constituent data in Salesforce and support its effective use by development staff. Uphold professional and ethical standards set by the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA). Collaborate with the PIH Prospect Research and Development Teams, providing support as needed. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with 6-8 years of prospect research experience or relevant transferable experience. Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competency, and ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders across departments and countries, including low-income regions. Proficiency in PC environments, database management, online databases, internet research, and Microsoft Office; Salesforce experience is a plus. Ability to handle confidential information with integrity. Skill in locating and interpreting biographical and financial information from various sources. Ability to manage multiple projects and re-prioritize as needed. Strong interest in social justice is highly desirable. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Pay and Benefits The starting salary range is $75,000-$80,000/year, with a salary class range of $70,000-$85,000/year, depending on experience and market factors.
