Location : Washington, DC Contract Type : Full Time Reports To : BD Director Q2IMPACT seeks a proactive and responsible Business Development (BD) Associate to join our team in Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will provide proposal coordination support for U.S. government contracts across the full business development lifecycle, from identification through submission. The candidate will also be responsible for managing and disseminating information for pipeline tracking, researching new funding opportunities, and providing office management support. The Business Development Associate will report to the BD Director and work closely and collaboratively with staff across the organization and external partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Business Development Track new opportunities, assess and circulate relevant opportunities for team review, and update pipeline information Support business development team with research on potential clients, partners, and market trends Coordinate proposal efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, developing proposal calendars, compliance matrixes, and other materials; scheduling meetings and color reviews; drafting proposal sections; identifying candidates and collecting documentation; supporting communication and data collection with partners; and ensuring coordination and communication across the team Contribute to drafting, editing, and formatting BD documents, capabilities statements, RFI responses, and proposals Track and organize BD correspondence, proposals, and follow-ups Help coordinate BD meetings, events, and presentations Office Management Support Provide administrative support to facilitate the smooth operation of the office (monitor mail, serve as a main POC for any office related inquiries) Manage logistics related to IT assets and project document shipments using FedEx, as well as handling asset returns for former employees Provide operational support for the Q2IMPACT team including arranging meetings, coordinating office events, ordering supplies, printing, photocopying and general office management MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Strong problem-solving skills and a high sense of responsibility Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Adaptability to changing priorities and fast-paced environments Ability to to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint) PREFERRED SKILLS Experience with or knowledge of U.S. government contracting, proposals, and/or foreign assistance Experience with resources such as SAM.gov, Grants.gov, GSA eBuy, and GovWin Experience with Airtable Proficiency in languages in addition to English SALARY $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 BENEFITS OF JOINING Q2IMPACT: A dynamic group of professionals with diverse backgrounds and expertise, committed to delivering high-quality results and making a meaningful impact in communities around the world.
