VP, Nashville
to lead our Nashville office. We seek a savvy, organized, motivated, and experienced leader to develop and drive our business in Nashville. The ideal candidate will be active within the creative community, possess strategic vision, leadership, and industry experience. They should be comfortable operating as an entrepreneur and within a global organization. The VP will aim to elevate the company’s revenue and profile, drive vision, culture, and strategy, and harness new business opportunities.

Office-first role, in office 4 days a week. Attract, sign, and retain labels, artists, and internal talent. Drive content acquisition and business development. Oversee local P&L with growth targets for revenue, market share, and profit. Imbue global values, vision, and culture locally. Manage relationships with music clients across genres, including labels and artists. Cultivate industry relationships with DSPs, management companies, industry bodies, and Sony Music Nashville. Manage local office matters, staffing, and infrastructure. Build and execute team business plans with KPIs focused on revenue growth, retention, margin, and engagement. Work with other leads to identify service gaps and growth areas. Maintain strong relationships with executive leadership and client teams. Manage client issues and liaise internally. Drive adoption of The Orchard’s tools and services. Guide staff and clients on platform use. Attend industry events as a local representative. Liaise with internal departments to meet business needs. Hire, train, and retain high-performing teams. Who you are
Natural leader with management experience and strong people skills. Experience with P&L management and the music industry economy. Experience managing a team in a satellite office. Ability to manage ambiguity and thrive in change. Experience with high-touch relationships in a label or distribution company. Deep knowledge of digital media, music retail, analytics, and social media. Ability to pivot, multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills. Passion for independent music and willingness to attend events. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel domestically and internationally. Strong local connections are a plus. What We Give You
