Executive Director

to lead the Healthcare Markets Initiative (HMI). The HMI advances market-based solutions to health policy challenges in areas such as rare diseases, medical devices, and mental health. It aims to develop appropriate incentives to eliminate inefficiencies where some services are too expensive and reimbursements for others are too low. The Executive Director will oversee the development, implementation, and growth of the HMI research program, including setting strategic directions and research development. The role involves working with a multidisciplinary team of economists, physicians, health policy scholars, data scientists, and other researchers to conduct evidence-based, policy-relevant research to improve healthcare market innovation. Key duties include: Oversight of program operations and administration Collaborating with the Faculty Director to develop and implement short- and long-term strategies Establishing program policies and procedures Managing staff and defining organizational structure Overseeing program design, policy development, teaching, staff administration, budgets, marketing, public relations, and fundraising Identifying and pursuing fundraising opportunities Minimum Qualifications Education:

Master's degree in economics, public/health policy, health services research, or related field Experience:

At least 7 years Preferred Education:

PhD in relevant fields Preferred Experience:

10+ years Supervisory Responsibility:

Manages through subordinate supervisors Compensation:

The annual salary range is $174,738 - $200,000, considering experience, education, skills, and other factors. This is a 3-year (renewable), full-time position with hybrid or remote work options.
