Your Next Opportunity The Project Manager II is a senior project management role overseeing projects from planning through completion, ensuring client satisfaction by delivering exceptional service. The role involves managing multiple projects of varying sizes, mentoring staff, and working on-site or in-office 5 days a week.

What You’ll Do

Train and guide Project Assistants and/or Project Manager I in project tracking.

Plan and organize projects under senior supervision.

Supervise and train junior staff.

Establish project objectives, policies, and standards.

Negotiate and supervise change orders.

Coordinate with clients and architects/engineers.

Support construction activities with onsite teams.

Address and resolve project issues proactively.

Represent the company in meetings.

Prepare and negotiate change quotations.

Manage project finances and reports.

Assist in developing new business opportunities.

What You Bring To Us

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).

Minimum 5 years of project management experience.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful

Strong performance management skills.

Extensive safety knowledge.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Oracle.

Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands.

Excellent communication skills.

Self-motivated and team-oriented.

Professional interaction with all levels of staff, vendors, and clients.

Travel Up to 25%.

Working Conditions

Work may be at job sites or in the office.

Environment includes active construction sites, indoor and outdoor conditions, and variable noise levels.

Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Pay Range $109,800 - $164,700 annually, based on experience and location.

Additional Details Position is full-time, based in Santa Barbara, CA, with a senior level classification in project management within the construction industry.
