YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY: The Project Manager II is a senior role overseeing multiple projects, ensuring client satisfaction, and delivering excellent service. The position involves managing two to four small to medium projects or one to two large projects concurrently. It requires expertise, mentorship abilities, and on-site or office work five days a week. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Train and guide Project Assistants and Project Managers I in tracking and project management tasks. Plan and organize projects under senior supervision. Supervise and train junior staff. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and standards. Negotiate change orders and supervise their preparation. Coordinate with clients and architects/engineers to facilitate construction. Support construction activities on-site, ensuring schedule and budget adherence. Resolve issues proactively and implement corrective actions. Represent the company in meetings. Prepare and negotiate change quotations. Manage project finances, including billing and expenses. Assist in developing new business opportunities. WHAT YOU BRING: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 5 years experience in project management. SUCCESS FACTORS: Effective performance management skills. Strong safety knowledge. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Oracle. Ability to prioritize and adapt to changing demands. Excellent communication skills. Self-motivated, proactive, team-oriented. Professional interaction with all organizational levels, vendors, and clients. TRAVEL: Up to 25% travel required. WORKING CONDITIONS: Work may be performed at construction sites or office environments. Activities include sitting, standing, walking, typing, and physical movement, often in varying environmental conditions. Noise levels vary from low to loud depending on the site.
