Production Specialist Planner

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to support an innovative aerospace company in Covington, GA! This role plays a key part in aligning production schedules, materials, and resources to meet ambitious manufacturing goals. Responsibilities: Create and manage detailed production schedules in coordination with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams. Analyze capacity, material requirements, and production data to ensure balanced workloads and efficient operations. Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve cycle times across production lines. Implement and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability and avoid shortages or excess. Support MES and ERP integration, digital tool adoption, and lean manufacturing principles to improve planning accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. 7+ years in production planning or manufacturing operations (aerospace or automotive preferred). Strong background in MRP/ERP systems and scheduling tools. Solid understanding of lean manufacturing, capacity planning, and materials management. Proven ability to work cross-functionally with strong communication and problem-solving skills.
