Title: Cisco Network Support Field Technician (US Citizen)
Type: Long-term Contract to hire
Location: Dormont PA (With local travel when required)
Pay rate: Commensurate with experience level
Responsibilities; Have responsibility for the overall security, health, and functionality of our end clients' physical and virtual network infrastructure and voice systems hardware and software housed both on-premises and in public and private cloud environments. Administer, configure, and maintain the corporate Wide Area Network and wired and wireless Local Area Network infrastructures at our end clients' locations. This includes Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, Uninterruptible Power Supplies, and environment monitoring hardware. Any experience with FortiGate and/or Extreme is a huge plus Administer, configure, and maintain the corporate cloud-based phone system, including licensing, extension assignment and mapping, call flow routing, and configuration of physical and virtual handsets. Set up new switches, routers, wireless access points, and networked security cameras as indicated by requirements, network architecture standards, and industry best practices. Conduct security audits and implement device backup procedures, as well as other recovery processes, following the company's disaster recovery and business continuity strategies. Will work with executive team members, decision-makers, and stakeholders to assist in defining business requirements, systems goals, and processes to develop, deploy, and maintain network infrastructure that meets overall expectations, on time, on quality, and on budget. Will provide second-tier escalation for technical support by troubleshooting problems related to wired or wireless data network performance. Document complex systems and troubleshooting procedures related to network infrastructure. Interact and negotiate with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to assure delivery of network or phone system-related products and services.
