We are looking for passionate and talented Software Development Engineers to join us to innovate on this new service that addresses customer needs to build modern contact centers in the cloud. You will be playing a crucial role in developing the next generation contact center, and get the opportunity to design and deliver scalable, resilient systems while maintaining a constant customer focus. As a senior developer on this team, you will be responsible to disambiguate complex customer problems and responsible for end-to-end from architecture, design, development to successful customer onboarding, mentoring junior engineers and work closely with other senior technical leaders within the Org and across AWS. You'll have a sound understanding of computer science fundamentals and practical industry experience, working across the stack with technology involving modern web, SOA, NoSQL databases, AI, ML, Big Data and more. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience. 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience. Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
