Design, configure, and maintain highly available PostgreSQL environments. Utilize JSONB and unstructured data features for NoSQL-style data models. Automate database provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Implement best practices for schema design, partitioning, and replication. Establish backup and recovery procedures using tools like pgBackRest or Barman. What’s Needed?
Minimum of 7 years of experience with PostgreSQL environments. Deep knowledge of JSONB, indexing, and query optimization. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash. Experience with security measures including RBAC, MFA, and data encryption. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana. What’s in it for me?
