Experis Our client, a leading financial services organization, is seeking a PostgreSQL Database Administrator (NoSQL Workloads) to join their team. As a PostgreSQL Database Administrator, you will be part of the IT department supporting database management and optimization. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?
Design, configure, and maintain highly available PostgreSQL environments. Leverage JSONB and unstructured data features to support NoSQL-style data models. Automate database provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible. Implement best practices for schema design, partitioning, and replication. Establish backup and point-in-time recovery procedures using tools like pgBackRest or Barman.
What's Needed?
Minimum of 7 years of experience in PostgreSQL-focused environments. Deep experience with JSONB, indexing strategies, and query optimization. Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash. Experience with security measures including RBAC, MFA, and data encryption. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
