Sr. .NET Web Developer
Our client is seeking a Sr. .NET Web Developer. This is a technical position needed to drive the development and support of the Vocational Information System for Tracking Advancement (VISTA) modernization project. The position will play an integral role on self-directed project teams working on this high priority development project. Tasks include application design and development, integration with third-party internal and external systems, database technology migration from Oracle to Azure SQL and data conversion, building and maintaining cloud computing environments, analysis of legacy code and logical requirements, advising on and executing documentation, unit testing, and cross testing best practices. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent analytical / problem solving skills Note: Candidates must be current WI residents. No relocation allowed. Preference given to candidates in Madison and surrounding communities. This position will work mostly remote within the state of WI, but may be expected to come onsite as needed. Candidate must be available to work onsite at Madison, WI headquarters GEF-1 location at client's request, including consecutive weekdays or extended periods, without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking expenses. Client can make changes or modifications to this arrangement with a reasonable advance notice.
