Nursing Director - Long Term Care Facility

We are actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Director for our long-term care facility, located in the scenic community of Joshua Tree, CA. This pivotal role administers our nursing program, ensuring alignment with hospital policies and standards of patient care. As a leader, you will oversee operations, budget management, and the integration of staff activities within our health services environment. This position is committed to fostering an environment of professional growth and high-standard patient care, with a strong emphasis on maintaining compliance with all regulatory agencies.

Salary:

$165,000 - $195,000 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develops and enforces departmental policies and procedures to maintain patient care standards. Liaises with hospital management to integrate and coordinate nursing services. Regularly participates in committees to facilitate and direct facility functions. Conducts daily rounds to monitor resident care and staff operations, providing leadership and support. Prepares operational and capital budgets, forecasting necessary funds for department needs. Attends care conferences to ensure thorough coordination of resident care and administrative services. Organizes and participates in facility meetings to ensure continuous quality improvement. Acts as a key communicator with the medical director and staff physicians to maintain treatment standards and cooperation. Represents the facility in the community through proactive marketing and communication efforts. Ensures all practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards, maintaining facility licensure and accreditation. Minimum Position Qualifications:

Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility or acute care setting. At least 3 years of experience in a nursing management role. Must hold a current RN License and CPR certification. Proven ability to oversee and lead a nursing department with strong strategic planning and operational capabilities. Preferred Qualifications:

More than 3 years of nursing leadership experience. Demonstrated expertise as an RN in various healthcare environments. Advanced certifications in healthcare administration or nursing leadership. Experience in emergency response and crisis management. Skills:

Exceptional leadership and communication skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Capability to work effectively under pressure in both clinical and administrative capacities. Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation. Competent in the use of healthcare technologies and patient management systems. Benefits:
