JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective
The Applications Engineer is responsible for acting as a liaison between the Sales & Marketing and the Engineering departments to ensure technical accuracy in all commercial matters. The Applications Engineer must also ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by ensuring internal channels have a correct understanding of customer needs.
Essential Functions
Daily On-Site Attendance. Works with the Sales & Marketing department to ensure quoted products meet customer application. Acts as a liaison between the Sales & Marketing and Engineering departments in the creation of transformer designs during the quoting process. Maintains and updates the Pricing Configurator tool. Collaborates with the Sales & Marketing and Supply Chain Management departments to ensure that pricing structures are appropriate. Collaborates with the Director of Sales & Marketing, Director of Operations, and Senior Supply Chain Management Specialist to develop technical marketing material. Develops technical presentation content for meetings with customers and Sales Representatives. Conducts customer product awareness training seminars. Participates in industry events, including conferences and trade shows, to network and promote the Company's products. Attends daily and weekly internal Sales Meetings. Competencies

Environment/Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to complete all physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department in the Office and Factory Floor. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. However, depending on workload there may be occasional longer days and occasional weekends as needed. Employee is expected to work the hours necessary in order to timely and satisfactorily complete all necessary work tasks.
Travel Regular travel is not required for this position.
Education and Experience
•Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
•2-3 years of sales and engineering design experience preferred.
•3-5 years of experience in electrical industry required.
•Technical and analytical aptitude.
