to support our culinary team. This dual-role position is responsible for preparing ingredients for meals and maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen. Key Responsibilities:
Prep Cook Duties:
Wash, peel, chop, and portion ingredients as directed by chefs Assist with basic cooking tasks such as mixing, marinating, or assembling items Label, date, and store prepared items properly Maintain a clean and organized prep station Follow all food safety and hygiene procedures Assist with banquet or event prep as needed Dishwasher Duties:
Wash and sanitize all dishes, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment Maintain cleanliness of dish area, kitchen floors, and trash disposal areas Organize and restock clean dishes and supplies Assist with taking out garbage and recycling Ensure all cleaning and sanitation guidelines are followed Support kitchen team with other cleaning or prep tasks as directed Qualifications:
No prior experience required; kitchen or dishwashing experience a plus Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with commercial kitchen equipment and food safety standards Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus Interest in learning more about cooking or culinary career paths Benefits (if applicable):
