We are seeking an experienced Citrix Administrator to support and maintain our enterprise-level Citrix infrastructure. This role is critical in ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of Citrix environments and related endpoint configurations. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to system support and optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support Citrix environments, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (formerly XenApp/XenDesktop).
Manage and maintain Citrix servers, including provisioning, patching, and upgrades.
Configure and troubleshoot Citrix endpoints and user profiles.
Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability using relevant tools.
Work closely with IT teams to ensure integration with enterprise systems and applications.
Perform routine system maintenance and resolve Citrix-related incidents and service requests.
Participate in disaster recovery planning and testing for Citrix infrastructure.
Maintain documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices in Citrix environments.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience supporting enterprise-level Citrix infrastructures. Expertise with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Director, and Citrix Studio. Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy. Familiarity with Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM) and Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS) is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot performance issues across Citrix, network, and server layers. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Education:
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA-V, CCP-V) are a plus.
