Schedule/Hours:

Tuesday Saturday, 8:30 A.M. 4:30 P.M. This position is responsible for: Plans, administers, monitors, and evaluates the day-to-day operations of a small Family Store with a limited staff, ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: Processes, displays, and prices donated items to ensure a maximum financial return on the sale of store items. Assists customers in a polite and friendly manner; prepares store displays that are attractive, neat, and orderly. Rotates and re-stocks store merchandise to ensure quick turnover. Ensures the accountability and security of all store items and funds. Serves as a supervisor and/or lead worker to volunteers and/or subordinate store personnel. Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing including the providing of clear instructions to employees. Ability to perform mathematical computations. Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism. Duties are performed by frequent walking and/or standing, kneeling, or squatting, relieved by lesser periods of sitting or operating a vehicle. Moderate amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying moderately heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.) Work is performed in a normal retail store environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather, but may include warehouse conditions associated with store operations or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
