Licensed Practical Nurse (Float Nurse) Position

As a Float LPN, you will provide critical nursing support across outpatient psychiatry, addiction services, housing programs, and residential care facilities in both Quincy and Hannibal. Your role ensures continuity of care and helps maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for our clients through skilled nursing, documentation, and patient-centered communication. Position Perks & Benefits: 29 Days of PTO Eligibility for HRSA Loan Repayment *eligibility requirements Employee benefits package - health, dental, vision, retirement, life, & more Competitive 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan up to 5% match for Part-Time and Full-Time employees Company-paid basic life insurance Emergency Medical Leave Program Flexible Spending Accounts healthcare and dependent child-care Health & Wellness Program Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Employee Discount Program Mileage Reimbursement Key Responsibilities: Administer medications to clients via various methods (oral, injection, self-administration, etc.) in accordance with service line guidelines Perform physical and mental health assessments, including psychiatric screeners, per program requirements Accurately document medication administration, clinical interactions, and nursing assessments Conduct MAR reviews, medication counts, and track refill status; prepare pass medications as needed Communicate with clients and providers to manage medication-related questions, refill needs, and coordination Room clients, verify personal and medical history, and collect vitals and samples (urine, blood draw, etc.) Complete timely documentation of interventions, assessments, safety planning, and education provided Maintain up-to-date, accurate medical records and assist with general lab duties and infection control Serve as a clinical resource on hygiene, infectious disease, and other health topics under nursing leadership Participate in nursing team meetings and other organizational activities as required Travel between Quincy and Hannibal to meet coverage needs as directed Education and/or Experience Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Illinois and Missouri (or eligible to obtain) Required License/Certification (one of the following): Valid LPN license in good standing in the state(s) of service CPR certification (preferred or required based on program policies) Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance Additional Qualifications: Proficiency in electronic health records and written documentation Strong verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail, problem-solving, and adaptability across service environments Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow HIPAA standards Willingness to travel between locations and work with a diverse population in a variety of settings Brightli is on a Mission: A mission to improve client care, reduce the financial burden of community mental health centers by sharing resources, a mission to have a larger voice in advocacy to increase access to mental health and substance user care in our communities, and a mission to evolve the behavioral health industry to better meet the needs of our clients.
