BAE Systems Manchester, New Hampshire is looking for a Design Quality Software/Systems Program Quality Assurance Engineer. Quality Assurance is a member of the integrated program team, enabling business growth through a focus on predictive program execution and leading Continuous Improvement solutions throughout the enterprise. This position is for an individual contributor who will be a part of an integrated program team. They must be a self-starter and have the ability to work independently and make value added assessments. The Quality Engineer, reviews program contract requirements, statements of work and system technical specifications to develop and implement effective Program Quality Plans. Software Quality Eng will be responsible for ensuring that our software products meet Internal and External Customer requirements through testing and or analysis. The candidate will effectively communicate and flow down program Quality requirements to the Program Office and other Engineering disciplines. Program Experience with Software Quality approaches, Software and Systems level testing and Software development & release is required in addition to the QA skills outlined above. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor's degree and 2-4+ years of experience or 6-8+ years of experience in lieu of degree Engineering development experience Knowledge of CMMI or other software programming language Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies, strongly preferred Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Knowledge of Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) methodologies Knowledge of AS9100 standard & compliance Familiarity with testing tools such as Commander, Jira, BitBucket, Gitlab, ClearCase, AccuRev, and Jenkins, Coverity, Collaborator, ClearCase, AccuRev, and Jenkins Experience leading continuous improvement effort, such as lean six sigma. BS Degree and 5 years of related work experience Industry Experience in Aerospace/Defense software development of complex and high reliability code. Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer or similar Engineering role. In depth knowledge of CMMI Auditing Experience both as an auditor and hosting audits Experience in Software Peer Reviews and the collection and review of metrics Software Review Board (SRB) membership Software Configuration Control Board (SCCB) membership, Verification of Software Change Requests, Understanding and engagement in Functional Qualification Test Events and their dry runs. Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. Full-Time Salary Range: $95106 - $161680. This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
