Warehouse Receivers
Warehouse receivers are needed for 2nd and 3rd shift openings. The 2nd shift is from 2pm to 10:30 am and the 3rd shift is from 10:30pm to 6:30 am. The 3rd shift has a 15% difference, making it 25.30 per hour. In a climate-controlled warehouse where personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory, material handlers are responsible for the physical movement and storage of goods within a warehouse environment. Material handlers work with self-guided vehicles used for material handling and automated storage and retrieval systems. Warehouse duties include: Inspecting incoming deliveries to ensure accuracy, check for damage, and confirm compliance with company standards. Sorting, labeling, and storing items in designated locations following inventory management protocols. Accurately picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Using advanced systems to improve efficiency and accuracy in warehouse operations. Ensuring products are handled safely and efficiently to minimize damage and delays. Performing regular cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain accurate stock levels. Safely operating forklifts, ride on pallet jacks, and other material-handling equipment. Working closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals. Participating in team meetings to discuss process improvements and address challenges. Participating in safety training programs and actively contributing to a culture of workplace safety. Required skills, experience, and qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs regularly and occasionally heavier items with assistance. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic math skills for inventory and order accuracy. Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including standing for extended periods. Strong computer skills to enter and move materials in their ERP system (Govia).
