Production Scheduler where you will be responsible for reviewing EDI orders, discrete orders, verifying data in QAD, and managing production schedules to meet customer needs and align with company goals. It involves working closely with the Plant Manager, production team, and customers to resolve issues, adjust to schedule changes, and support continuous improvement. A strong focus on accuracy, communication, and customer service is essential.Location: West Plant at 5055 36th St. SE, Grand Rapids, MI. 49512Shift: Days Target Pay: The target starting base salary for this position is $54,568 - $80,948.00 / year (plus quarterly bonus incentive). Cascade Engineering considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.General ResponsibilitiesPlan and schedule production orders in QAD to meet customer requirements, with orders received via email, paper, sales team, customer service, or EDIReview and validate EDI orders and releases, resolving errors and coordinating corrections as neededMaintain and document customer communications, ensuring appropriate follow-upCoordinate with release analysts and shipping to ensure timely receipt of materials for productionCollaborates with production and warehouse teams to ensure timely material availability and efficient flow of components through the manufacturing floorCommunicate with shipping and logistics regarding due dates, changes, transportation requests, and tracking informationCollaborate with quality to resolve issues affecting production or shipment commitmentsWork with engineering and program management to address BOM, pricing, or sales order concernsCoordinate with plant leaders on the daily production schedule and address equipment or tooling issuesSupport inventory activities and accuracy initiatives as requiredCollaborate across campus to manage shared resources effectivelyParticipate in internal problem-solving efforts, RIEs, and Lean improvement initiativesEnter and maintain on-time delivery data as requiredRepresent the Materials Department as part of new program launch teamsServe as a point of contact for customers regarding order and ship date issues, including exceptions to standard lead timesPerform additional duties as needed to support business goalsCulture BearerUnderstands and supports the values of the Triple Bottom Line (TBL)Exhibits high moral and ethical standards and high integrityValues people regardless of their background Exhibits the traits of a servant leaderExhibit the principles of 7 Habits and Emotional IntelligenceEncourages open dialogue and communicationDevelops high trust relationships within all levels of the organizationPursues ExcellenceAt Cascade Engineering, we welcome and celebrate diversity and inclusion.
