Quality Inspector - FAI
for an immediate opening in
Miami, FL . The role is
full-time , Monday through Friday. Key responsibilities: Report daily to the team leader in an office/shipping environment. Complete First Article Inspections ensuring accurate and complete reports. Prepare FAI reports and coordinate with suppliers to correct errors. Operate within the client Quality Management System (QMS). Communicate with suppliers to determine the best course of action for escapements. Adhere to SQA/Client policies. Qualifications: Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI). Strong attention to detail and adherence to inspection plans and protocols. Ability to interpret basic engineering drawings. Proficient in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills. Experience with AS9102 Form 1, 2, 3. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) per ASME Y14.5 standards. Fluent in reading and writing English. Must meet ITAR requirements and be able to undergo a background check. Ability to sit and stand for 8 hours within an office and packaging environment. Preferred Qualifications: Certification or prior certification in GD&T ASME Y-14.5. Diploma or GED from an accredited high school or technical school; college degree in engineering preferred. Knowledge of mechanical contract manufacturing and LEAN manufacturing. Minimum 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, with at least 2 years as a Mechanical Inspector.
