Master Scheduler
to join its corporate team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will oversee the development and execution of the master production schedule across multiple manufacturing sites, aligning production output with customer demand, inventory goals, and plant capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Create, manage, and maintain a master production schedule across various manufacturing facilities Translate sales forecasts and trends into actionable production and resource plans Align personnel, materials, and equipment with inventory and fulfillment objectives Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure scheduling accuracy and service continuity Optimize planning strategies through the use of ERP systems and scheduling tools Monitor schedule performance and make real-time adjustments as needed Identify capacity constraints and communicate potential risks or delays Prepare and present performance metrics and scheduling reports to leadership Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Management, Finance, or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in multi-site production scheduling and planning Strong proficiency with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) Experience with scheduling or planning software is strongly preferred Exceptional organizational, time management, and planning capabilities Strong analytical mindset with a focus on problem-solving and strategic decision-making Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Benefits
