In this role, you will act as a key liaison between drivers and the organization, ensuring smooth operations and accurate compliance with routing and customs procedures. This is a long-term contract position offering an excellent opportunity to work in a dynamic logistics environment. Responsibilities: Coordinate daily cross-border and domestic routes, ensuring drivers have the necessary documentation and resources to complete their assignments. Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, addressing issues related to routing design, trailer readiness, and paperwork accuracy. Manage customs documentation with precision, adhering to compliance standards to avoid fines or delays. Act as a liaison between drivers and Toyota, resolving operational challenges and facilitating clear communication. Provide courteous and detail-oriented customer service to drivers, balancing empathy with firm decision-making. Monitor shipment flows between the organization and the Toyota plant, ensuring timely and efficient delivery. Adapt to new security procedures and volume increases associated with cross-border shipments. Utilize Microsoft Excel and other tools for tracking, reporting, and dispatching logistics activities. Collaborate with team members to handle unexpected circumstances, such as weather-related delays or paperwork discrepancies. Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of logistics coordination. Requirements: Proven experience in logistics, dispatching, or a related field. Strong proficiency in Excel for tracking and reporting purposes. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally. Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, including customs paperwork. Ability to manage multiple routes and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented mindset to ensure accuracy in documentation and compliance. Knowledge of freight carriers and cross-border logistics is preferred. Bilingual abilities are a plus, especially for handling international shipments.
