BMO is currently sourcing for a Corporate Card Business Analyst (Authorizations and Fraud Prevention) position on a 9-month contract. Summary of Role:This role focuses on improving approval rates for corporate card transactions by analyzing authorization and fraud data. Project: Authorization and Fraud PreventionYears of experience: 2-3 years Here are some of the key requirements and responsibilities included in this role: Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):- Maximize approval rates by identifying opportunities in authorization and fraud rules.- Triage referral/escalation cases and conduct daily research.- Perform trend analysis and tackle top decline reasons.- Document event root cause process flows and propose changes.- Conduct ad-hoc authorization analysis using data from databases.- Access TSYS mainframe for analysis and recommendations.- Maintain decline reason matrix and procedures for call center agents. Required Skills:- Deep knowledge of TSYS authorizations and fraud prevention tools.- Experience with tokenization, MDES, and digital wallets.- Strong MS Excel skills and some SQL knowledge.- Previous banking/credit card experience. Desired Skills:- Understanding of commercial banking and card services.- Knowledge of back-end systems supporting payment transactions.- Experience in TSYS environment.- Banking/financial services experience is desired.
