Flexible Schedule - Must Be Available All 7 Days (Exact Schedule to Be Discussed During Interview) Pay Rate:
$22/hour (W2)
Must Have: 6 months of long-haul dispatch experience required. Knowledge of DOT regulations a plus. Position Overview:
This
entry-level management
role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in
fleet operations . The Transportation Associate will work under the guidance of experienced supervisors to learn the day-to-day activities of transportation dispatch and logistics. This position is ideal for individuals with prior
long-haul dispatch
experience seeking to build a career in operations management. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with daily dispatch operations, including coordinating driver assignments and tracking unassigned loads • Monitor freight movement to ensure
on-time deliveries
and
safety compliance • Serve as point-of-contact for
driver support
and issue resolution, including off-hours and weekends • Rotate through various departments such as
load planning ,
shuttle , and
regional operations
to gain full operational exposure • Take on
weekend ,
night , or
daytime dispatch
responsibilities as needed • Support safety compliance by understanding and applying
DOT regulations • Adapt to changing schedules and operational demands Requirements: • Must be able to work
flexible and rotating shifts , including weekends • Must have
at least 6 months of long-haul dispatch experience
(recent and relevant) •
Knowledge of DOT regulations
is a strong plus • Strong problem-solving and communication skills • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively Preferred Education: •
Bachelor's Degree
or equivalent relevant work experience preferred
