Job Description: Provide Tier 1-2 support for research-focused digital applications, ensuring smooth operations and excellent customer service for scientific end users.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot issues within EDL, ELNs, and Chemdraw applications
Sort and route incoming requests to appropriate business units
Convert reports to PDF/A for server storage
Manage user access through Azure Active Directory
Interface with scientists and researchers to resolve technical issues
Collaborate on continuous application improvements
Document issues and feedback for future upgrades
Requirements: Must-Haves:
Communication experience - changing environment
Active Directory / Azure
Customer Service
Application Support (Tier 1-Tier 2)
ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) // Laboratory Information Systems
Independent learning and not needing hand held / learn quickly
Good team worker / understanding updates, improvement, and learning
Associates or Bachelors
Someone who has some knowledge on how to code (when there are issues with ELN, not frequent, not an everyday issue)
Nice-to-Haves:
EDL Experience (Electronic Document Library) SIMS, EDL
Material science background / STEM
Database understanding - SQL - intro/beginning
Application Servers
Someone who has communication experience, taking the lead on sending things over
