We are seeking a strategic and delivery-focused Cloud Design & Release Manager to lead the architectural design and release management of wireless telecommunications applications into a Red Hat OpenShift-based private cloud. This role involves cloud design expertise and Agile release planning, guiding cross-functional teams through platform evolution, application onboarding, and operational readiness. Job Responsibilities

Cloud Architecture & Design:

Design cloud infrastructure and platform services for telecommunications workloads in a Kubernetes-based private cloud. Maintain reference architectures, onboarding frameworks, and design standards for scalability, security, and resilience. Collaborate with application teams, DevOps, and infrastructure architects to meet requirements. Modernize legacy telecom services through containerization, service decomposition, and CI/CD. Release Management & Agile Delivery:

Lead Agile release planning, coordinating platform updates and application onboarding. Manage release cycles, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews. Establish release governance, including version control and rollback procedures. Align product roadmaps with engineering and business priorities. Leadership & Collaboration:

Manage and mentor a team of cloud engineers and release coordinators. Foster collaboration among platform, security, DevOps, and application teams. Promote Agile practices and continuous improvement. Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement:

Own and improve cloud design and release processes. Implement tools to monitor release health and platform uptime. Conduct post-release reviews for lessons learned. Strategic Engagement:

Advise leadership on design tradeoffs, risks, and progress. Communicate dependencies and roadblocks effectively. Contribute to cloud strategy and roadmap discussions. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Expertise in Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, and cloud-native architecture. Experience with Agile methodologies and release planning. Understanding of wireless telecom applications is preferred. Familiarity with CI/CD, GitOps, and automation tools. Proven leadership in design reviews and delivery management. Excellent stakeholder communication skills. Mentoring experience and team management skills. Minimum age: 18; authorized to work in the US. Additional Details:
