Primary Purpose Evaluate, research, analyze, support, and assist in the development of computer system requirements for Cypress-Fairbanks Information Services, including systems like TEA's PEIMS, e-Finance, eSchoolPlus, BI Solutions, PowerSchool, and others supported by the district. Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited institution or five (5) years of experience in Information Systems. Professional Experience Minimum of two (2) years experience with Texas K-12 systems such as PowerSchool, eSchoolPlus, eFinancePlus, Laserfiche is preferred. Special Knowledge/Skills Knowledge of multiple operating systems, programming languages (C# preferred), systems applications, database management (SQL preferred), and BI tools like Power BI or Tableau. Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation and assist in policy implementation. Terms of Employment : 250 days Salary : $63,955 - TA 5, based on experience, as set by the Board of Trustees. Major Responsibilities Assist in all phases of software development: analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Ensure software meets technical and user requirements. Maintain technical manuals and documentation. Develop reports and queries, troubleshoot application issues, and support user projects. Support administrative applications related to student, payroll, finance, and HR systems. Communicate with staff to determine needs and provide technical assistance. Update and maintain existing systems based on district needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Supervisory Responsibilities : None Environmental Factors Use of standard office equipment, prolonged sitting, keyboarding, occasional travel, and after-hours work may be required.
