Network Analyst
We are seeking a Network Analyst to join our team supporting DISA J-3/5/7 Directorate. You will play a key part in ATG's support of operational planning support, strategic initiative coordination and program assessments (OAB) for the directorate. Key responsibilities include: Providing services to facilitate integration into the operational environment and to help expose and address any NetOps related issues. Partnering with the assigned program/service Program Executive Office (PEO) to determine what level of NetOps certification is needed and when appropriate, work with the PEO to bring the program to the governance board. Supporting drafting/managing the development of artifacts for specific programs/services. Providing technical leadership in the planning, investigation, design, and implementation of physical and logical communications solutions having network-wide impact. Providing solutions that incorporate integration of digital encoding formats, line codes, and timing concepts across engineering disciplines and environments. Influencing team members, the customer, and vendors to define, analyze, and provide solutions for the customer's voice, data, and image communications requirements. Preparing complex workprints and schematics to define and illustrate entire network structures and solutions. Identifying and recommending new design tools for use in communications projects. Evaluating projected corporate network usage and providing and implementing media solutions. Participating in and influencing marketing proposals and studies by providing costing models, reports, and technical solutions for network-wide projects. Identifying product modifications and influencing vendors to incorporate these changes into their products. Planning, designing, and implementing network management systems to monitor, diagnose, control, and measure performance of multiple communication networks. Identifying, analyzing, and recommending new network administrative systems for entire networks to ensure accurate network inventory and timely implementation. Supporting program deliverables, and reporting to both ATG leadership and Government personnel regarding contract outcomes and status. Qualifications required: Security Clearance Level: Must hold an active Secret Clearance. Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering, management information systems, information technology or related technical field. 5-8 years minimum experience with network requirements, design, configuration, planning, and implementation. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Desired: Previous experience in supporting teams with multiple skillsets. Physical and environmental conditions: Work to be performed out of Fort Meade, Maryland. Must be able to sit for long periods of time in office-setting.
