Planner - Communications
We are seeking a Planner - Communications to join our team supporting DISA J-3/5/7 Directorate. You will play a key part in ATG's support of operational planning support, strategic initiative coordination and program assessments (OAB) for the directorate. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate, de-conflict, and facilitate communications with all applicable staff elements, subordinate headquarters/commands, service cyber components, CCMD, components, and agencies with cyber-related missions. Conduct contingency campaign planning in support of anticipated campaigns or operations. Conduct crisis action planning using a modified or truncated JPP to produce planning recommendations and products in a time constrained environment to meet the J-5 Director's directed Timelines. Support and attend weekly Joint Planning Groups (JPGs) and direct future planning Provide in-depth deliberate planning expertise and guidance for the development of policy, plans, processes, procedures, and governing directives secure, operate and defend mission areas and provide input to address operational gaps, prioritize and validate requirements and be prepared to modify development-planning efforts based on the changing cyberspace environment. Provides technical and administrative direction for personnel performing software development tasks, including the review of work products for correctness, adherence to the design concept and to user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules. Coordinates with the Project and/or Program Manager to ensure problem solution and user satisfaction. Makes recommendations, if needed, for approval of major systems installations. Prepares milestone status reports and deliveries/presentations on the system concept to colleagues, subordinates, and end user representatives. Support program deliverables, and reporting to both ATG leadership and Government personnel regarding contract outcomes and status. Qualifications Required: Security Clearance Level: Must hold an active Secret Clearance. Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Management, Computer Sciences, Information Management, Business Management, or a related discipline. Bachelor's Degree and 4 Years experience can be substituted for Master's Degree. 8+ years of related experience as a computer analyst and 3-4 years of business solutions experience with high complexity, multiple large application business processes. Thorough knowledge of programming languages, project management, and application or systems development methodologies are crucial. Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. Desired: Previous Experience in supporting teams with multiple skillsets. Physical and Environmental Conditions: Work to be performed out of Fort Meade, Maryland. Must be able to sit for long periods of time in office-setting.
